Can No.2 be countable?

Question

Hi,Is it correct to say, "let me get a No.2" or "I would like to have two No.4s " at a first food shop?  How about "two of No.4s"? Oh, of course, by No.2 or No.4, I mean a combo set. Thank you,M

Yes. "I'd like a Number 3, two Number 4s, and a Number 5 with extra cheese." is fine.
You could say "two of number 4", I'd say it's less common, but it would work.

I wasn't paying much attention, but now I am wondering why you wrote, “a Number 3, two Number 4s” etc, with the Capital letters. Do you see them as proper nouns in this context?

It was once quite common to capitalize Number (followed by the number) in contexts where it was the name of something, such as "Number 2 pencil". Hardly anyone does this today, except in contexts like Number Ten (Downing Street, London), referring to the official residence of the British Prime Minister ("A Number 10 spokesman acknowledged that the Prime Minister..."). You may also come across Number One hit, referring to popular music. I prefer to capitalize, but I'm a member of an unfashionable minority in doing so.

I think I'll have to join your club, because I would capitalize a lot of other constructions "if they'd let me".
