Do English native speakers say this way,"make sb not do sth"? Here is an example,

The heavy rain stopped us from playing football. Can it be like : The heavy rain made us not play footabll. ?

Nice try, but no. You can't have 'make someone not do something'. You can only have '[keep / prevent] someone from doing something'.
