Can I write that" I was in outside when raining."

The other man tells me that I can't use was back of I .Please help me.Thanks a lot:)

These are common ways of expression:

I was outside when it was raining.
I was in back of the house / in front of the house when it was raining.
I was out back / out front when it was raining.

and I couldn't figure out how Mr. M. interpreted "was back of I" as "I was outside." Eventually I realized that your real question was in the title of

I was in outside is contradictory. You can't be in and be outside at the same time.

You need either I was inside or I was outside.

I was outside while raining means I was outside while I was raining! You can't rain. Only "it" can rain. You need this:

I was outside while it was rain
