Can I use this in negative sentences?

I have a question. Firstly, I wanna tell you, that I´m from Czech Republic and I can´t speak English well, but I´m trying to improve it.

So, my question: This is negative form of present simple: You are not... I can make it shorter: You aren´t... But can I do this: You´re not...

I am not sure, I can do it this way. Is it correct, or not?

Thank you for your response.

Both are correct. "You're not" and "You aren't" are each completely acceptable. Although "wanna" is VERY informal, and you should probably limit that to e-mails and spoken lanuguage.

Thank you very much for your reply and for advice about word "wanna" You really helped me.

P.S. What exactly means word "geeky"? I guess, I didn't understand well.

More slang. Someone who studies all the time is a geek. It's slighly derogatory word, but can be said playfully. Also, people who are really, really involved in a hobby with more intellectual overtones can be referred to as geeks "A Star Trek Geek." I'm a little fanatical about grammar (in more formal settings) so I'm a Grammar Geek.

I understand now. Thank you. I would like to be an English grammar geek too. But I guess I will never be. It would be nice to be so good at English. But it is not my native language. So, it is almos impossible to be as good at foreign languages as native speakers.

But I will try to be as good as it is possible. I will try it.
