Can I use the word' tunnel' as a verb ?

'Today, I will tunnel through that road, are you interested to go with us ?'

Could it be ? to tunnel it, to go under it.

'Tunnel' is a verb, but it means to dig a tunnel or to do so metaphorically, so it doesn't seem to work in your sentence.
