Can I use "cope" as an intr verb without "with"?

For example, can one say:
"I think he won't surrender to those difficulties. Let's see how he'll cope."

Thank you for your answer.

Thank you Marius Hancu.

Can I also say:
"I think he won't surrender to those difficulties. Let's see how he'll manage."

you surely can.

I bet you can come up with a single, better sentence that incorporates both of the ones in the example.
