Can I use "if so" to connect two sentences without using "and"?

For example, can I say "these new factories will be far away from the city center, if so,the owners will spend more money on distributing their commodities to the city center."?

One way you can use "if so" is if the first sentence is a possibility:

“If so” is not even nesseccary. Just cut to the chase... you have the comma after “center” so you can just say..

Will the owners spend more money blah, blah, Blah..
