Can I use active and passive voice in the same sentence with a conjunction?

"There are total four areas in support module, which are unfolded into different applications." In this example the first one is in active and the later one is in passive? Is it grammatically correct?

In standard English, I don't understand what it means to say 'a scope or region is unfolded . . . ' .
