Can I use a hyphen to divide a phrase?

Hi!

Is it possible to use a hyphen in the following manner?

e.g.: See the company's customer service number on washing machine issues below - service offered in French.

Thanks in advance

What you want is a dash, not a hyphen. A dash is longer. In your sentence I think I prefer brackets.

In your sentence I think I prefer brackets. I would also change "on" to "for":

"See the company's customer service number for washing machine issues below (service offered in French)."
