Can I say "we are either lucky to be allergy free" instead of " we are both licky to be allergy free"?

Hello?

Can I say "we are either lucky to be allergy free" instead of " we are both lucky to be allergy free"?

I'm confused that some sentence are used by either or both.
How I distingush two words to write a paper?

Either limits the choice to one or the other. Both includes two people. I hope this answers your question.
