can I say "I'm just seeing if you think I have gain weight."

That doesn't sound good to me. I'd say I'm just checking whether you think I've gained some weight. (if is not exacty wrong but whether sounds better to me there)

That doesn't sound good to me. I'd say

I'm just checking whether you think I've gained some weight. (if is not exacty wrong but whether sounds better to me there)
