Can I say "Just let her alone." ?

I saw a sentence in one of my grammar books which I don't think it's correct. It goes like this:

Mia doesn't want to talk to anyone. Just let her alone.

My doubt is that I don't know whether sentence patterns like "Money makes me happy." is applicable to "let". ( verb + objective + adj.)

I found a sentence similar to the sentence pattern above using "let" : Let the dog loose. However, I didn't find any sentence other than that one, which can prove "let" can can be used in "verb + objective + adj." pattern.

So please tell me your opinion, and I would be appreciated. Thanks!Emotion: smile
