Can I say "How far is it from there?"?

Hi, everyone

I know we can say "It is not far from here."

But can we say "How far is it from there?" Compared with "How far is it from here?" , which is better? Or both of them are OK?

Please help me with this question, thank you very much!!Emotion: smile

I guess it depends on the context. If you want to know the distance from the place you are, then use "here". If it's from another place, then use "there"
