Can I say "I like going dancing"?

Dear teachers, please teach me.
When we are asked "What do you like to do in your free time?" I think we will answer, for example, I like listening to music.
But I wonder how should I make answers when I want to say, go fishing or go dancing. Because it will be I like going fishing or going dancing. Can we use ing and ing? I think another way, I like to go dancing but it seems the meaning is different from what I mean. The meaning changes like I want to go dancing. I would be happy if someone answer my question.

Anonymous like going fishing or going dancing. Can we use ing and ing? Yes, that is fine.

  • Yes, that is fine.
  • It does put a bit more emphasis on the whole experience of coming and going, though, compared to the simpler "I like fishing / I like dancing".
