Can I respond to my mother like this, if she wants help from me? Thank you for corrections.

“Little man, I'm going to clean house today. would you like to help me with the cleaning?” she inquired.
“Of course, I do mother” replied I.
“Now you go to the bathroom downstairs and start filling the buckets with water. When I call you, bring them one by one, understood?” she pointed. I nodded in silence, went to the bathroom and started filling the buckets.
"Bring them upstairs" exclaimed my mother.
“Coming mother,” I shouted, grabbed the bucket on the handle and carried them to upstairs one by one. She wiped all the furniture with a wet cloth then changed the cushion covers, swept and mopped the floor with the water I carried her with buckets.
