Can I remove "is" in this sentence?

Hi.

I willing to remove "is" at the following sentence .

"The thing that I'm not sure about /*is*/ if there is any way to debug using breakpoints?"

Can I remove and use "it" instead?

Not exactly sure what your quetion is but " willing' is not a function verb to the subject 'I'. (lower $5,000 from the selling price). I willing to - is ungrammatical.

No. Only "is" will work. It serves as a link that indicates that two things are equivalent.

The thing that I'm not sure about = if there is any way to debug using breakpoints.

Note also that it is not a question, so don't put a question mark at the end.

You are using terminology that is unfamiliar to me. What do you mean by 'breakpoint' and Makefile?

You can think just noun. It just nothing special words. It's meaningless.
But I just tell you what this have a meaning.
The breakpoint and Makefile is involved in computer programming language. And Makefile is that just you can think as a platform and breakpoint is that it can makes hold in progress on Makefile program.

Leave out "about is" and it will be OK. Use "I'm not sure if ..." or "I'm not sure whether ...".
