Can I put a comma here?

Hi, I was unsure as to should I have put a comma here.

"Saw this quote today, I think it's bang on!"

I understand that the second clause is independent, and that the first clause is dependent, since it has no subject, and usually dependent clauses presented first are introductory. Am I correct?

Thank you.

Daithy since it has no subject, It still has a subject even if it's not written. I wouldn't use a comma. I would most likely use a dash.

Yes. You could use a comma if you added 'and'.

I saw this quote today, and I think it's bang on!
