Can I omit the articles in brief descriptions?

0In a medium such as the table, can I omit the article (a, the) for short descriptions? (Especially if an article, if used, would be the first thing in the description sentence)02br

00name description02br
02br
00IpAddr (the) IP address of the server02br
02br
00port (the) port of the server02br
02br
00custName (a, the?) customer's name02br

00Additionally, can I use 'the' for the custName description, if I don't have a specific customer in mind, but just that it's some customer (to the store I have in mind)? 02br

00 Also, can I omit the articles even if they don't come first in the descriptions? 02br
