Can I leave out the second "to" in this sentence?

Hi everyone! So in the sentence "She was asked to read the story and to summarise the main idea", is the second "to" necessary? Can I just leave it out?
Similarly, is the grammar in this sentence correct: "She would help you with your work and be nice to you"? Or should I rephrase it: She would help you with your work and she would be nice to you? This one sounds a little bit redundant to me but not sure if I got both of them incorrect. Thanks!
