Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to apply to your Master program of "Reservoir Geology and Geophysics". Which is organized by the faculty of Geology , for the year 2015-2016.
At high school my ambition was to work for a big company as a petroleum engineer. So that, in 1997 I enrolled to aaaaa University for my undergraduate study at the faculty of technical Engineering , where I got my Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering with G.P.A 63.6% in 2002. Although, my marks in reservoir and geology were not enough good I believed that they are the only disciplines which is involved from the early exploration activities until the enhanced oil recovery (E.O.R.)
Following my believe and because the major of Petroleum Engineering was a general specialization ,Reservoir or Geophysics considered as my future prospect. Fortunately enough, at the beginning of 2004 The Program of Preparing and Qualifying Petroleum Engineering Graduates was initiated by The National Oil Corporation (N.O.C) . Taking this opportunity, Reservoir Engineering was my specialty. In which I studied Reservoir Engineering courses for 36 weeks and 56 weeks English Language and Computer Applications.
In addition of my above mentioned previous knowledge of the important of Reservoir studies, as it is the main core of petroleum industry and business , consulting the professionals during the N.O.C. program encouraged me to go ahead with this discipline. At the end of 2007 I started working as a junior reservoir engineer for an Oil & Gas company.
Being one of the company nominees for a one year higher education opportunities sponsored by the N.O.C. to get qualified for future promotions, I started searching for a program. The fascination of Spain and its cultural heritage made it one of the best of my choices. As well as the location and the good reputation of your university made it at the top of my list. But finding the Reservoir Geology and Geophysics Master Program made it my unique ambition.
I am hopeful to join your program ,and eagerly looking forward to your acceptance
