Hi. I'd like to verify a slew of quotations for my random sig file. I've been very surprised at how difficult it's been. After seeing endless amounts of information about truly absurd things out here on the web, it's easy to feel that literally everything in the universe can be found on the internet, but apparently not. I've tried google, of course, and I've found a fair number of quotation- dedicated search sites, but still I'm getting goose eggs. I hope there is a truly spectacular site I've so far overlooked, or some other way to go about this. Help? Here's an example: ?The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule.? J.L. Mencken JLM was a fairly famous reporter, n'est-ce pas? From the time that Lindbergh's baby was kidnapped. The web has almost nothing on this guy, certainly not a list of his quotes... Perhaps history is not proportionally represented on the web. Eden
