Can I borrow your brain

HI,

Could you come up with some nouns that has a huge gap when used as countable and when used as uncountable. Not like, hair and a hair. The ones I came up with are:

love and a love,
light and a light
glass and a glass,
checken and a checken
work and a work.

I need some more...

Thank you,
M

Of course, you would ask that..

Well.. hard to explain.

love is a emotion while a love is a person. chicken is a kind of meat while a chicken is a kind of bird. work is a place you work while a work is a piece of a craft. light is visible while a light is an object.

beer is beer, and a beer is a glass of beer. They means close. tomato and a tomato me

love is a emotion while a love is a person. Not necessarily. eg Tom and Mary have a love that is eternal.

chicken is a kind of meat while a chicken is a kind of bird. work is a place you work while a work is a piece of a craft. light is visible while a light is an object. I think you need to consider all no-count nouns
