Can for future ability

Hi
Most sites about could and can state that they can't be used for future ability and have to be substituted for by will be able or would be able
Is the following correct?
I hope you can come soon. Or should one say, I hope you will be able to come soon.

As for could:
I wish you could come soon.
This is about the future, isn't it?

You can say either, but be aware that the first means 'You can [in your estimation now] come at that time.'
AnonymousI wish you could come soon.
This is the same: 'I wish you could [in your estimation now] come soon.'
