The line graph illustrates how many tourists visited a particular Caribbean island in the course of 7 years starting in 2010.
Looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that the figure of visitors increased sharply and the number of people staying on the island was much more than visitors who preferred staying on cruise ships with the exception of 2016 and 2017
In 2010, visitors staying on cruise ships stood at 0.25 million of visitors. This figure experienced an upward trend with eight times as much, except in 2012 (the number dropped to 0.25). Overall, the rise was quite steady.
Different from staying on cruise ships, the figure of visitors staying on the island went up irregularly. There was no change between 2010 and 2011 (0.75 million of visitors). Then, the number kept up two times and continue to hold steady in a three years period. There was a slight decrease in 2016 (down to 1,25 million of visitors) and grew back to 1.5 million of visitors in 2017.
