can "beautiful" be used as a verb?

So the exercise in the workbook is:
Circle the adverbs and underline the words they describe.
the sentence is:
The stars in the night sky looked incredibly beautiful.
the answer is: adverb = incredibly, and beautiful is underlined

Can anyone explain this to me? since I thought looked was the verb. Or is the answer just wrong?

The adverb isn’t modifying any verb here, but the adjective beautiful to form the predicative adjective phrase incredibly beautiful , which relates to the subject the stars in the night sky . Look is often called a ‘linking verb’ when it takes a predicative complement.
