Ethnographical Essay - Asian Cultures

Even though, there are tons of different Asian cultures – each culture has something in common with the other to make up a list of things in common. It doesn’t matter if people stereotype every Asian(s) as just Asians – they all do the same things . . . get good grades, become doctors, and are very organized and clean. People seem to look at Asians and see some sort of amazingness from them. Perhaps maybe they are amazing in their own way, but to be honest – Asians are just normal people too.
One major importance in an Asian culture would be having hardcore smarts. Only reason for that is because they don’t want to disappoint their parents and it is beneficial for their selves. For example, they were raised to not get below an A and in extreme moments below a B, or that they will feel ashamed because their parents will be heartbroken and it will lead to them doing better next time by studying harder. For academics Asians study by practicing problems, reading notes, writing, and reading books just the basic stuff that will get you a good grade.

Another would be to be very organized and clean. When you are hanging out with one of your Asian friends at their house when you walk in their house (if they are cultural), you will probably have to take off your shoes and sometimes, depending on whom you are with, they might even provide slippers for you to wear. So when you enter the house, your feet are clean and less of a mess that they have to clean up later. After entering would likely probably go to their room first to drop off your belongings and be astonished by their room – organized and clean. Their bed made, books neatly on their book shelves, utensils together on a desk or box, practically adjusted perfectly to their satisfaction. Also, when you guys begin to eat, they would probably it if you clean your dishes after you eat and clean any messes you have made.
The semi-most important below academics would be that they like to have fun. When they are going places they like to invite people to see if they want to have fun with them. Asians like to go places: sight-seeing, amusement parks, road trips, museums, and other countries; I suppose just experience everything at least once. That’s one thing every Asian culture has is ‘fun time’, the time when they relax and have fun as a family with friends usually during vacation, seasonal breaks, and likely summer. Asians are amazing people, but again they are just normal like you and me.
In almost any Asian culture, they are people who like to dance, sing, and cook. They dance any kind of dancing or their own traditional dances. They sing their own Asian songs, or American songs. Most Asians are good cooks, they can cook anything if they learn how to, their food should be amazing if they have the hands to cook. In almost every Asian culture, they have those crazy Asian drivers who speed and obey the law at the same time. They probably speed because in Asia the speed limit is different.
The traditional culture that every Asian culture has that surpasses education, parent expectations, and fun would be to respect your elders. For example, respect your grandma and grandpa: take care of them as they age (goes for their parents too). For Asians their elders go as far as the old to anyone who is older than you not by a year or 2, but more like 8 or up more years and is more mature.
There is another cultural one, but not really. It is when you begin to get a house and get a steady income. Your parents begin to want to live with you. This was long decided before you hit 18 as an Asian. Roughly about 30-65 percent of Asian parents decide to live with their children when they are older. But if they reject their parents they would be kind of hurt, but would respect their Childs decision.
The most important thing in any Asian culture would be expectations from their parents. Their parents would have expectations for them to have a good academic life, be hygienic, be able to cook and have a fun life. Also, Asian parents hope that their children respect the elderly all the time. Even though some Asians can be rich or poor they all want their children to have a successful life: where they are kind, respectful, and helpful.
