Can anyone help please......

Hi

I just want to know if the following sentence is correct:

'...to obtain various experiences'

It is not a sentence. In fact, it would be much easier to have an opinion about that phrase if you had put it in a sentence. As it is, I can only guess how you are using it, and my guess is that there is a more natural way of saying whatever it is you want to say with it.

  • To obtain is like to gain possession of, and I don't think you can do that with experiences.

You can "obtain experience" (you could "obtain experience in various fields", for example), but you can't "obtain experiences".

Just so that you are aware, this is not a sentence. Also "various" may be a wrong choice of word.
