00In 1990,00 August 2,00 the Iraqi troops entered and occupied Kuwait. The Iraq government claimed that the Kuwait is a part of Iraq in the past and also claimed the Kuwait was illegally take oil from Iraq’s area.00 02br

00During 1980 a war had begun between Iraq and Iran and caused an Iraqi economical crises, as a result the Iraqi government invade Kuwait to overcome this crises by stealing the natural resources. 02br

00They were got out from Kuwait by united stat troops and they left the burning wells and the oil slicks on every where in Kuwait, along the coast and in the deserts’ also. The flames and the black smokes rose several hundred feet on the air over the burning oil wells. More than 810 oil wells were fired in Kuwait and they cut the major oil pipelines at the sea on AL-ahmady , Al-shuiba00 00and elsewhere and the oil flowed on the gulf . 02br

00There are some effects on human from this pollution, first, the toxic smoke from the burning oil wells contain carbon and sulfurs dioxide which causing cancer in lung and shortness of breath. 00 00More than 1000 Kuwaiti died because the air pollution and water pollution. Also, the typhoid disease increasing between the people since 1991. 02br

00While the war affect the human it is also affect wildlife, the war killed and extinguished several kinds of animals and plants. More than 2500 kind of birds were died from spill of oil. Also, over 50 kilometers of oil pollution and soil erosion caused to destroy the plants life in huge numbers. However, the drink water and the food were polluted which caused a lot of damages on animals and plants.02br

00A huge numbers of Iraqi troops deployed on different region from Kuwait’s deserts with its tools and machines to occupy Kuwait. As result of this movement of heavy machines and vehicles is the soil erosion. Moreover the oil spilled into the deserts over 50 kilometers caused acid rain and pollution of the groundwater.02br

00As result of one million tons form oil were fired and 600 of burning oil wells, 3.9 million metric tons of black smoke per well per day. This smoke caused huge damages on the atmosphere like, rising the atmosphere level which causes change in the climate and global climate. 02br
