00Hi,02p

00I have to translate a part of a documentary for a class and I have a problem with one sentence (actually it’s one word I cannot recognize). Can anyone help me and tell me what the speaker says?02p

00It’s at this link: 05002p

00BTW, it might help to know that the documentary is talking about a festival.02p

0That's not easy at all! I'm not 100% sure of the highlighted words and the final word was a bit 'cut-off' to tell, could be gear or biz or part of a longer word.02br

0 Thanks a lot for trying to help me. From the context, I think the first one is 01u00farcical02u00 and I'm not sure about the second (it may be 01u00farce02u00)02br
00Anyway, now I figured out it's not just me who find it hard to figure out.0-

0 Farce was my first reaction too, but then listening again it sounded more like fast (they do sound very similar when spoken quickly like this) and fast seems to make more sense in that context. But the first only sounded like 'farce' not 'farcical' and whatever it is definitely ends in an 'er' sound, and you don't get a word 'farcer'. 0-

0Thanks again for trying to help.02br

00I know it’s not that easy to figure out. So I decided to translate it as if the sentence says “… sort of a bit farcical, they attend it as a farce…” and I'll know the correct sentence soon.02br
