Can anyone help me with my IELTS writing task 2
Topic: In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers of books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying.To what extent do you agree or disagree?
And this is my essay:
It is predicted that in the next few years, people will use e-book to replace printed newspapers and documents. Personally, I partly disagree with this view for the following reasons.
On one hand online books can save our time and money. They allow us to economize a large amount of money that investing in purchasing books each year. Besides, electric newspaper updates information and latest news more exactly and quickly. To illustrate, in Vietnam, teenagers now are pleased to read VTV broadcaster's news by virtue of their renovation of contents, which is changed to gratify the new generation.
On the other hand reading famous writings and poems without paying money is a dishonor to the authors and lessens the original psychological values of literature books. Furthermore, spending too much time on the screen in adverse light quality can lead to myopia. A typical example of this is that in today's world, more and more children are suffering from short-sightedness and color blindness due to contacting too much with high energy visible.
In conclusion, although it is partly true that online reading is beneficial for people, I do believe that reading e-book have its own drawbacks.
