There is an argument about whether money should be spent on exploring the universe or it should be utilized for other issues. Personally, I partly agree with the view that people should use money effectively to develop their valuable fields and help poor people; however, investing in space exploration could lead to the existence of people on other planets.
One of the reasons why I believe that money should be used in a more beneficial way is there are some other industries that are considered more crucial than space and the universe, such as the economy and education. Investing in such areas could contribute to the growth of a nation and standardize the living condition of citizens.
An additional factor behind my view is there are a large number of disadvantaged people around the world. Instead of squandering money unjustifiably, the government may consider to raise funds and direct them to help poorer people. This could narrow the gap between the rich and the poor as well as ensure the equality between classes in the society.
However, I also feel that investments in doing research into the out space are legitimate it holds the ultimate key to the human race’s long term existence. There are many reports showing that scientists have discovered some other planets which are hospitable to humans. As a result, governments have been planning for their citizens to migrate to those planets and start a new life on them in the future if the overpopulation could not be tackled.
In conclusion, I reiterate my partial agreement that money should be used in an appropriate way as it should be prioritized for many other industries and economically disadvantaged people. Nevertheless, I admit the significance of space research to people‘s long-lasting survival in the future, so it is recommended that the government should carefully prepare for the future
