Can anyone help me punctuate this sentence, please?

Can anyone help me punctuate this sentence? Please? I'm so lost. =(

It is clear from reading the passage about Ishmael's body language while greeting the family that his intention was to feel accepted by the family

You might want to change the second "the family" to "them", and I'm not convinced that the last part of the sentence is strictly logical. At first it looks plausible, but can one really have an intention to feel accepted by someone? "... he wanted to be accepted by them" sounds better, if that's what you mean.
