Can anyone help me find this song

Help! This song is an old R & B duet with a man and woman, from the 80's I believe. It is melodious with the two people repeating at the end of the song,

"This time I wrote that note, this time I'm saying goodbye....Back together this time, this time..."

I think the song is titled "This Time", but alas, no luck! Can anyone please help???
