The bar chart visualises the outcomes of a questionnaire about the coffee and tea buying and consuming habits of Australia citizens in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart cities.

Overall, according to results in one month, people prefer going to a café for coffee and tea than buying instant coffee, except for Adelaide city. It is also noticeable that there was no big difference in the consumption of instant coffee in all cities, while fresh coffee was less popular.

The percentage of going to a café in Melbourne city was the highest with over two in third, followed by Hobart city and Sydney city, at 63% and 61%, respectively. People in Hobart city accounted for the highest proportion in the habits of buying and drinking instant coffee with nearly more than half. The figures for Melbourne city and Sydney city were slightly lower, at about 48% and 46% respectively. About 44% of fresh coffee was bought and used in Sydney, which was higher than Mebourne city and Hobart.

The buying and consuming habits of fresh coffee in Brisbane city and Adelaide city were the same with around 34%. People in Brisbane city bought instant coffee more than that in Adelaide city, accounting for 53% and nearly 50%. This trend was true for going to a café a, at over 55% and under more than half respectively.
