Can anyone help?

I need to identify some errors in the text below but I am really stuck:

The archivist, Iris Haussler, was determined to have the house and their contents designated a historic site. So she and her assistant began taking peoples on walking tours through the house, giving lectures about Wagenbach’s life and art, trying to drum up public support for the project.
Visitors passed his hat and tweed jacket hanging in the entrance, then went through a dirty kitchen to an improvised gallery at the back, which displayed sculpted nudes, teddy bears, and columns of stacked flower pots glued together. The most heartbreaking room in the house belonged to Wagenbach’s former lover and muse, Anna Neritti. He had the room sealed in 1974 after Neritti left him, and it remained untouched for more than thirty years.

So far i have found an error in the first sentence: "their contents" should be changed to "its contents" - and in the next sentence, the word people does not require an s in plural form....
- Am I totally off? And can anyone identify more errors? Because, as i said, I am completely blind to it after staring at this for days now.
