The scope of this specification covers all aspects of blade manufacturing for instance from raw materials up to finished blade when it is ready for shipment. Further this specification applies to raw materials, parts, components or products that are incorporated into blade. This quality specification is drawn in accordance with the strategy and the vision of ABC Ltd. This quality specification establishes the general requirements and set the framework for the QSE system and technical documentation. The standard specific requirements are not covered in this standard and have to found in their relative standards. All items will be classified and approved by their relative standard. This specification also covers principals for quality planning, QA responsibilities and authorities, training and education, quality assurance of the product realization process, labelling and handling, documentation and verification of the product and process
The quality assurance is responsible to assure that the responsibilities, tasks, skill levels and means of communication are agreed upon and effective. Further the QA must make certain that the employees engaged in the manufacturing of blades are properly qualified, skilled and trained for their job and understand the ABC Ltd requirements. The suppliers and samples must be evaluated by QA before their engagement. The QA must assure that specified items, parts and assemblies are clearly marked with item and serial numbers, traceable to production documentation and power plants. The QA has the responsibility to assure that that the finished blades have been subjected to all specified tests and they fulfil all ABC Ltd demands before forwarding and delivering it to the customer. Further the QA shall assure that production results are entered on records which must cover at least the subjects described in this standard.
New production sites must be evaluated and approved by the ABC for their compliance with this Quality Specification and the ABC Handbook before deliveries can be accepted. Documentation that this Quality Specification has been implemented should be available at ABC.
