Dear Internship Coordinator,

I would like to express my interest in applying for technical internship provided by **** University of Technology at Campus*****. I appreciate this opportunity and I believe that my academic background in urban planning, combined with my work experience in this field, will make me a suitable candidate for this internship.

I got my bachelor degree in Urban and Regional Planning from ***** University in 2009. My education focused on urban-studies subjects such as urban planning, city planning, environmental planning, regional planning and urban design. Now I am pursuing a master degree at ***** University in urban sustainable development.

After my graduation, I worked on several projects in urban planning field with consulting firms. Now I am working at the General Organization for Physical Planning. This position allowed me to contribute to several national urban-planning projects. This also helped me enhance my leadership and management skills.

I am eager for learning more about urban planning, and strengthen my technical, critical-thinking, problem-solving and communication skills. Moreover, this internship will help me improve my knowledge in urban planning and design. The practice-oriented training based on real case studies will undoubtedly qualify me to succeed as an urban-planning advisor. I believe my skills, experiences and interests combined with my academic background will make me an appropriate candidate for this internship program.
