Can anyone correct these sentences?

Can anyone correct these sentences?

The Question is:
If you were Uncle George, what other ways would you try to get Tycho interested in studying law and government?

Answer 1:
If I were Uncle George, I would try to write a letter to Tycho and said that I wanted him to study law and government.

Another answer:
I would tell Tycho that if he studied law and government and helped in the ruling of the country, he could build many temples for the study of stars because he is rich.

Please help and correct the above two answers. Thanks, URGENT!
