Unemployed Issue

Day by day, the world is changing and developing. There are a lot of people in the world who have different problem in their lives; personal problems make our existence complicated. Unfortunately, most of people personal problem appear because of the social problems. For example, if the person can not find a job he/she can not makes some money even for a living sometimes and he/she has some quarrels in his/her family because of such lack of money; which makes him/her an unemployed. So social problem becomes a personal problem,

That is why the unemployment is a global issue. At the level of the individuals, there are psychological effects of unemployed. According to a study published in 1982 Most of them specially the young adults will have despair or even worse like premature death the most problems for the unemployed are loss of self-esteem and who they can be more confidence in their selves(Australian and New Zealand Journal of psychiatry,1982, Vol.16, pp37-42) . So the health of a community depends on the manner and variety of its people's occupation.

The unemployment is a phenomenon, it is from the begging of human life and it is will not stop⁽¹⁾. Although, the important question now is how we can eradicated it. Actually, there are two strains should work together; the first one is the unemployed itself. Everyone should be excel not naysayer, as will they should use their experience to grow and seek for any new opportunities for a job even if it not the job they want or may start into their own business and also they can engage other an unemployed if they can. By dong this, more people can explore new areas and find other interesting careers that suit them. Besides that, they should study hard to get a certificate with cum laude to assurance getting the job because every companies want its employees to be educated which allowed the company to be more successful.

Furthermore, according to Mohammed Yar Mohammed AL-Balushi, assistant general manager (HR) at Bank Dhofar said, There are too many graduates and not enough focus or emphasis on technical expertise and lower level careers (The Week, 2010, Vol.375, pp 4-5). As a result we can see unemployed need to choice the right specialism, to make sure that the market will ask for the specialism that they have study and having career sameness to what they studies.

On the other side, the government is the second strain, which play the major role. For instance, Omani Government had replaced foreign employees by Omani and it gives a huge opportunity to Omani an unemployed. Also, they have created two great projects called Sanad and Intilaaqah projects. Both of them gave the Omani unemployed loans to support them to start their own business. In addition, the government should give them loans to complete their higher education because it is the first measure standing in their way.

In my opinion, I think an unemployed should do their best to get a job they should not looking for specific job. They can do that by trying to complete their education or inter into training program. Also they should improve their skills and focus in their English and they should have knowledge in using computer. The last thing, they should use different ways to search for the job like television, radio and newspaper even in the internet or by using their friends and family.
