Essay & Composition Writing
Can anyone check this paragraph for grammatical errors or if the writing make sense at all? Please check it for me because I have some difficulties.
Hello,
English is my second language and I need someone to review this paragraph below please. This is about my involvement who the community and how I am unique. This is not the whole essay, but simply a paragraph.
I have been an effective Sunday school teacher at my local church. By teaching elementary school children Biblical stories I help instill moral values and principles that will help them to make good decision later in life. Some of the ethical values that I taught these children include honesty, charity, responsibility and self discipline. I found teaching young children about the love of Christ is extremely rewarding, because I have the chance to teach virtues of good citizenship and help them develop good character. Overall, the moral and the ethical values that I hope to instill in these kids will have a long lasting impacts on their lives.
In addition, as an incoming president elect of the Youth Association, I will be working with other board members to plan family service projects or civic activities in the community. For instance, I have recently organized a charity drive that will collect toys, clothing to assist needy families and also raising fund to help support organization, such as “Build On” . By helping these kid grow spiritually, they also learned the joys of assisting others and develop a lifelong habits of service.
