Can anyone check this for me

When I woke up in the morning I brushed my teeth and I threw my toothbrush in the bin as I went to the shop to get a new one.As soon as I entered the shop I realised I didn't have enough money, so I didn't get a new one. When I got home I was already forgotten that I had to buy a new toothbrush.
