It's little late to wish you guys Merry Christmas, therefore I will simply wish you Happy New Year and enjoy what has left of the holidays ...

or

Perhaps it's little late to wish you guys Merry Christmas, I will simply wish you Happy New Year and enjoy what has left of the holidays ... I think this is a better way of saying it like. Please let me know what you think guys.
