Should wealthy countries be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing things such as food and education or is it the responsibility of the government of the poorer nations to look after their citizen themselves?
Someone says the provision from big nations to poverty countries must be compulsory, while the other asserts providing the minimum standard of living should be addressed by the governor party. In my perspective, self-sufficient nations must support underdeveloped countries as a legislative requirement. This essay shall discuss two main points to reinforce this statement.
First of all, assisting indigent countries also brings benefits to the donors. Supporting other nations helps to strengthen diplomacy and make allies that play a crucial role in international trading. For instance, to produce an innovative labor force, Japan has built over 100 high-technology laboratories and institutes in Hanoi, Vietnam, since 1990. Nowadays, Vietnamese engineers make up approximately 70% of high-skilled foreign workers in Japan.
Secondly, life supplies are the birth right of humanity. If a government can not provide enough resources to its natives, affluent nations should be accountable for making these things accessible. Food and educational provision help improve and promote the prosperity of a country so it can be independently adequate someday. Back in 2010, in Africa, thousands of people died each day due to the shortage of goods. Fortunately, thanks to the cooperation and the aid from Western nations, they managed to survive the depression and invest in agricultural research, which is the long-term solution for food provision.
In conclusion, unless we implement the obligation that demands a required donation from prosperous nations, it is impossible to speed up the development of the world.
