Can anybody check my letter for corrections and input, which i have to submitt to university as evidence of english proficiency

I respectfully present the proof of my English proficiency through my academic as well as professional career.

Even though my mother tongue is not English I learned English from my youngest years. From elementary school onwards, English was the language of instruction in our core subjects, namely reading, writing, mathematics and science. English is also a compulsory subject in the curriculum. I passed high school exams in 1st division and then, joined Punjab College of Commerce for intermediate in commerce (I.Com) and passed the exams in 1st division. I completed my undergraduate degree (B.Com) from Hailey College of Commerce (P.C.C), University of the Punjab and Graduate degree (MBA) from National College of Business Administration & Economics (NCBA&E). I studied all the courses in English and passed with good scores. Medium of instruction in the institutions was English for all the courses in undergraduate and graduate degree.

During my masters degree I interact with many multinational companies for my research and semester reports. During the period I had responsibility of reporting and communicating research progress to that council regularly. Presentation of semester reports in English was a compulsory element of our academic pattern. I was very much exposed in such academic and research environment that helped to improve my ability in learning, communicating, and studying in English.

After passing the MBA, I was employed with one of the top manufacturer of Coated, Uncoated, MF paper, MG paper and Corrugated Boxes, Century Paper & Board Mills Ltd (CPBM). As a Sales Executive on side of corrugation plant, I was responsible to communicate with the top multinational corporation’s executives (i.e. Colgate Palmolive, Kraft General Foods, McDonald’s International) for daily clientage and to explore and expansion of company’s area of operation. I was required to communicate in English with employees at production plant as well as executives of large companies to organize and monitor demand, production and supply. In all of these instances, English was the medium of communication.

Presently, I am an Assistant Manager (Human Resources) with Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO), a leading electricity distribution company, strive to provide un-interrupted electric supply and quality service. I have been employed with LESCO for more than three years now. Being an Assistant Manager (HR), I am responsible for working to attract potential applicants, recruitment and retention of employees. I also conduct training sessions and orientation of employees. As a professional interacting with a range of employees in various departments, I consider myself to have a high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English.

During serving in LESCO, I started masters degree in Human Resources (MHRM) in Feb, 2007 from Institute of Administrative Sciences, University of the Punjab to enhance my competencies in area of Human Resources. Once again, the medium of instruction and examination in University of the Punjab is in English. All oral and written Presentation, seminars and similar discussion groups were always conducted in English. I have enclosed a copy of English proficiency certificates issued by my graduate institutions for your reference.

I am very confident that I can apply the knowledge of English with the highest proficiency in Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. My academic and professional career, as described above, provides evidences.
