Annual report of Human Rights and Legal teams: Human Rights and Legal teams work on three main tracks and one exigent track as follows:
Human Rights track: Observing and documenting the violations carried out by the regime, its thugs and mercenaries, and presenting those violations to the concerned global organizations.
Achievements:
- Trained and qualified 23 teams to observe and document the violations in a legal manner. - Created a Facebook page by the name “No Impunity” dedicated to document the violations. - Dedicating an email ID to receive violations reports by the name .........@gmail.com
Legal track: Collecting the regime’s violation and abuses data and classifying it in order to use it for criminal proceeding before the international courts, or the local ones in the future.
Achievements: - Prepared a set of criminal cases, beside cases of waste of public funds, embezzlement carried out by the regime officers and their close associates.
- Provided financial and legal assistance to the citizens who were arbitrarily sentenced in the regime’s authorities prisons. - Provided support and legal assistance to citizens abroad who the regime constantly tries to frame of criminal charges in an attempt to discourage their support and advocacy for the cause
Awareness track: Spreading the awareness amongst the citizens at homeland and abroad about their rights and the legal terms appropriate to best express their demands, and contributing to eliminating the ideological affiliations and focusing on the national and patriot belonging away from the ethnic, religious or sectarian propositions which incite division in homeland and lead to its break up and the loss of the cause and its future.
Achievements: - 147 thousand of printed hard copies have been distributed along with dozens of photocopies, and a large number of articles have been published in magazines, newspapers and social networking sites serving and developing the awareness amongst the citizens.
Exigent projects: - Acquiring the license of international relief organization with multiple tracks for relieving to contribute to the support of our fellows in homeland. - Contributing to preparation of the statutes and rules of procedures of the military institute
Future projects: - Contributing to the establishment of legal teams for consultation within the ranks of the military institute's battalions to ensure that no violation of the conventions and norms of international law is occurring, which could result in international condemnation, and ultimately surrounding and drying up the military institute’s sources - Working with the military council to provide legal support, consultancy and studies that will improve performance and gaining the international confidence - Extending the work of human rights and legal teams at homeland and abroad - Working to create a syndicate for lawyers and legal experts who are able to enact an alternative law governing the homeland upon the fall of the regime leading the transitional stage through the safest means and selecting qualified judges who are able to take over the management of domestic trials with the utmost independence, impartiality and transparency. In addition to other projects under consideration ... We hope to contribute to the creation of the state law where the citizens are equal before the courts, irrespective of their ages, races or religions
