Can a person be malicious?

Can I say, that a person is malicious*? I heard this adjective being used for things, but never regarding people. For example, if a person is really mean and finds pleasure in hurting other people's feelings. Can I say, that this person is *MALICIOUS? Thank you very much.

Are you sure? Like "a malicious table", "a malicious bus", "a malicious tree"? No. Those are not good. It's mostly for people.

I think it is used commonly enough with some other nouns, e.g.:

malicious letter
malicious act
malicious accusation
etc.

Indeed. With second-order nouns or higher, but not with objects (except in metaphors, etc.).
