1. You can use ruler to dig holes.

2. You can use my ruler to dig holes.

3.you can find a ruler in the study room.

The use of "can" in

The first sentence suggests - possibility/ability , I am not able to pick out.
The second suggests - permission
The third suggests - possibility.

Am I right?
