Camwhore.

is 'camwhore' a correct english or a slang?

Top answer

I think it's an extremely perjorative slang word. What was the context within which it was used? My reasoning is based on the fact that the word "*****" forms part of the word.

It's slang. It means someone that wants a lot of attention on the internet, and gets it by posting pictures of themselves, or video.

It means someone who sell sexual services via their webcam. But it can also be used to anyone who record sexual activities with their webcam and put them online or someone who take of their clothes on cam sites such as stick.am

It is not correct English - I agree that it is slang.

It can refer to either behavior or an occupation. Typically in the behavior it is discussed as a verb - "Jane is camwhoring" - when Jane is taking many pictures of herself and posting in on various social networking sites, or it is referred to as a mocking noun "You're such a camwhore".
