Campaign

Hi!

"This is for violence against children."

Does the sentence above clearly states what it really means?
You may have already seen a "campaign to stop violence against children" on facebook.
But I'm bothered with the sentence above.

Please enlighten me.

Thanks! Emotion: smile

I think you need the word "stop" in the sentence otherwise it might be a campaign supporting violence.

It is a pleasure - but I am not a "dude".

I am probably old enough to be your mother and I am a teacher trying to help you. I am not your friend or at school with you. I am also female, evident by my name I would hope.

Sorry Ma'am!
I didn't know. Emotion: embarrassed

Regarding your name, in our country your name can be for male or female.

Thank you for your apology.

Interesting that my name can be for male and female in your country. Here in France it is Louis for masculine and Louise for feminine.

You do not need to call me Ma'am but please be careful with slang. A simple "Thank you" is fine and shows appreciation.
