Came There

Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English defines "Come": to move towards you or arrive at the place where you are.

I found this sentence in an English book published in Japan: The store had already closed when she came there.

My question is whether this sentence is acceptable. Should it be "The store had already closed when she got there."?
